Koalas are nocturnal. they are awake during the night and spend 18-20 hours a day sleeping. the rest of the time they feed on the leaves of the eucalyptus tree. an adult koala eats about an half to one kilogram of eucalyptus leaves every night, but the leaves give them little energy, so they spend most of their loves sleeping.
